Then, we have Keanu Reeves who appears in “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty” as Johnny Silverhand. The voice-overs are freshly recorded, and the full motion sets a new bar for celebrity involvement.
As a bonus, Idris Elba joined the expansion. Just like Reeves, Elba served as a model for Solomon Reed, a mysterious secret agent. The characters were made to resemble the actor in both aesthetics and voice. Their powerful performance made people feel like they were watching a movie rather than playing.

Sometimes, video games weren’t specifically made to have Hollywood stars in them. That said, titles were sometimes modified to match Hollywood stars’ looks.
One notable example here is “The Witcher 3”. While Doug Cockle is the original voice of Geralt, modder Adan444 released a new mod based on Henry Cavill.
The original Geralt voice was swapped out in this mode with Cavill’s iconic grunt voice. The character’s face was also swapped with the original look of Cavill in the first season of “The Witcher”. While we are unlikely to see official remakes of the titles, these mods make them more entertaining.
