Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for Regretting You, a poignant adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, set to arrive in cinemas this October.

The film stars Allison Williams (Get Out, Girls) and McKenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, The Handmaid’s Tale) as Morgan and Clara – a mother and teenage daughter whose already strained relationship is pushed to breaking point when a tragic accident reveals a devastating betrayal. As grief sets in, long-buried family secrets come to light, forcing them to re-examine their past and find a new way forward.

Directed by Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars), the film also features Dave Franco, Mason Thames, Sam Morelos, Scott Eastwood, Willa Fitzgerald and Clancy Brown. The screenplay is by Susan McMartin, adapted from Hoover’s emotionally charged novel that has resonated with millions of readers.

Regretting You explores the ripple effects of loss, the resilience of love and the redemptive power of truth – a story of two women learning to see each other for who they really are, beyond the roles they’ve been given.

The film is produced by Brunson Green, Anna Todd, Flavia Viotti and Robert Kulzer, with executive producers including Williams, Grace, Franco and Hoover. It is a Paramount Pictures release, in association with Constantin Film, Domain Entertainment and north.five.six.
