The first posters and release date have been revealed for Christmas Karma, the new festive musical from Bend It Like Beckham director Gurinder Chadha, arriving exclusively in UK and Irish cinemas on 14th November 2025.

Described as a vibrant and feel-good retelling of A Christmas Carol, the film stars The Big Bang Theory’s Kunal Nayyar as Mr Sood – a modern-day Scrooge figure who embarks on a transformative journey through the magic of Christmas. He’s guided by three spirits: the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future, played by Eva Longoria, Billy Porter and Boy George.

Joining the star-studded ensemble are Hugh Bonneville as the ghost of Jacob Marley, Danny Dyer as a London cabbie, and an eclectic cast including Leo Suter, Pixie Lott and Charithra Chandran.

With a soundtrack that fuses bhangra, gospel, Christmas carols, rap and pop, Christmas Karma features music by Gary Barlow, Nitin Sawhney, Shaznay Lewis, Ben Cullum, Panjabi MC and Malkit Singh. The result is a colourful celebration of modern Britain’s diversity – a musical that promises heart, humour and holiday spirit.

Christmas Karma is produced by True Brit Entertainment, the new UK distributor led by Zygi Kamasa, and will hit cinemas on 14th November 2025.
