Hemsworth, Ruffalo, Berry and Keoghan face off in high-stakes thriller Crime 101

A first look featurette and poster have been unveiled for Crime 101, the upcoming crime drama from American Animals director Bart Layton, landing in UK cinemas on 13th February 2026.

Based on Don Winslow’s novella of the same name, the stylish thriller stars Chris Hemsworth as Davis, a career thief plotting one last big heist. But things take a turn when he’s forced to team up with Sharon (Halle Berry), an insurance executive with secrets of her own, while being pursued by dogged detective Lt Lubesnik (Mark Ruffalo). Also in the mix is Barry Keoghan as Orman, a rival thief whose violent methods threaten to derail everything.

The ensemble cast includes Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte. The featurette teases the film’s cat-and-mouse tension, sunlit noir aesthetic, and a morally murky game of trust and betrayal.

Crime 101 is written and directed by Layton and produced by Working Title, RAW and Amazon MGM Studios, with Hemsworth also on board as producer.
