Jack Ryan returns for one last mission in Ghost War as Prime Video sets May debut
Jack Ryan is heading back into the field in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War, a feature-length continuation of the hit Prime Video series, arriving globally on 20ᵗʰ May 2026.
A newly released teaser offers a first glimpse at the next chapter for John Krasinski’s CIA analyst-turned-operative, who is pulled back into action for what is described as his most dangerous and personal mission yet. After four seasons of escalating stakes, the story now shifts to a global scale, with a conspiracy that forces Ryan to confront a rogue black-ops unit operating in the shadows.
Krasinski is joined once again by Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly, reprising their roles as James Greer and Mike November, while Sienna Miller joins the cast as MI6 officer Emma Marlowe, forming a new alliance with Ryan as the threat intensifies.
The film format marks a shift for the franchise, moving from episodic storytelling to a more contained, high-stakes thriller that unfolds in real time, with familiar characters facing a crisis that tests both their loyalties and their past decisions.
Also starring Max Beesley, JJ Feild, Douglas Hodge and Betty Gabriel, Ghost War is directed by Andrew Bernstein, with a screenplay by Aaron Rabin and Krasinski, based on Tom Clancy’s characters.
Following the success of the series, which ran for four seasons on Prime Video, Ghost War brings the story to a new scale while continuing the arc of one of the platform’s most popular action dramas.
