Prime Video has shared a first look at Drawn Together, a new Spanish-language thriller that pairs high-stakes danger with a slow-burn romance.

Starring Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García, the film follows Marfil, a wealthy young woman whose carefully controlled life is thrown into chaos after she is kidnapped and mysteriously released. Back under her father’s watch, she’s assigned a bodyguard – Sebastián – whose guarded nature quickly clashes with her independence.

As the two are pulled into an increasingly dangerous situation, the dynamic between them begins to shift. What starts as distrust gives way to something more complicated, set against a backdrop of hidden motives and mounting threats.

Based on Mercedes Ron’s Enfrentados novels, the story leans into twists, tension and emotional push-and-pull, with the first images hinting at a polished, atmospheric take on the source material.

Directed by Óscar Pedraza and produced by Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang, the film continues Prime Video’s run of adapting Ron’s work for the screen.

With its mix of intrigue and romance, Drawn Together is shaping up as a glossy drama with plenty of bite when it lands on Prime Video in 2026.
