Muse announce 2026 European and UK tour in support of new album The Wow! Signal

Rock band Muse have announced European and UK dates for their forthcoming The Wow! Signal Europa Tour, the band confirmed on Friday 12th June, with the run scheduled to begin in November 2026 and conclude in Zurich, Switzerland, on 8th December. The tour, promoted by Live Nation, accompanies the release of the band’s tenth studio album, The Wow! Signal, which arrives on 26th June via Warner Records.

The announcement coincides with the release of a new single, Nightshift Superstar, taken from the album. The track follows several earlier releases from the record, including Be With You, Cryogen and Hexagons, as well as Unravelling, which was first issued in 2025.

The band’s wider touring schedule begins in North America, following a headlining appearance at Milwaukee’s Summerfest on 2nd July. The North American leg opens on 5th July in St Louis, Missouri, and includes a stop at the Festival d’été de Québec before closing at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on 31st August. Muse will then return to the UK for arena dates, including two nights at Manchester’s Co-op Live and two nights at London’s The O2, before continuing across Europe through December with shows in Berlin, Milan, Düsseldorf, Paris, Amsterdam, Montpellier and Zurich.

Muse first announced The Wow! Signal in March with Be With You, broadcasting the announcement from space. The release received coverage from outlets including Pitchfork, NME, Consequence, Kerrang! and Billboard. According to the band, the single recorded more than three million streams in its first week and reached number one on the Most Added chart at alternative radio, later entering the format’s top five.

The album takes its name from a radio signal detected in 1977. The signal, which originated from the constellation Sagittarius and was observed over a 72-second window, was recorded by an astronomer who circled the sequence “6EQUJ5” on the printout and wrote “Wow!” beside it, giving the signal its name. The record explores themes of extraterrestrial communication, technological anxiety and humanity’s search for meaning.

Tour pre-sales begin on Wednesday 17th June at 10am local time, with general on-sale from Friday 19th June at 10am local time. Support across the dates will come from Bloc Party, Portugal. The Man and The Temper Trap, depending on the leg.

Muse are Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme. The band formed in 1994 and have released nine studio albums, selling more than 30 million units worldwide. Their previous album, Will of the People, debuted at number one in multiple territories and marked their seventh consecutive UK number-one album. Their 2015 record, Drones, won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album, the band’s second such award.
