MobLand season two gets September premiere date as Tom Hardy returns
Paramount+ has released the first teaser trailer for the second season of MobLand, confirming that the crime drama starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren will return on 18th September.
Created by Ronan Bennett (Top Boy) and executive produced by Guy Ritchie, the London-set crime saga became one of Paramount+’s biggest original hits following its debut earlier this year. The new season once again centres on the powerful Harrigan crime family, with Hardy returning as loyal fixer Harry Da Souza alongside Brosnan and Mirren as family patriarch Conrad and matriarch Maeve.
The ten-episode second season sees the Harrigans fighting to hold their criminal empire together as rival factions close in and divisions within the family deepen. Caught between shifting loyalties and escalating violence, Harry must navigate increasingly dangerous territory as a battle for power threatens to consume everyone around him.
Alongside Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren, the returning cast includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones.
The newly released teaser offers a first glimpse of the mounting tensions facing the Harrigans, hinting at another season of shifting alliances, family betrayals and brutal confrontations.
Produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, MobLand is executive produced by Guy Ritchie, Jez Butterworth, Tom Hardy, David C Glasser and Ivan Atkinson, among others. You can catch the entire first season on the platform now.
