Heaven’s Basement – Fire, Fire | Video review

Heaven’s Basement – Fire, Fire | Video review

British hard rockers Heaven’s Basement set alight screens with their new video for the single Fire, Fire. With front-man Aaron Buchanan moving in an Aerosmith-like fashion in a yard full of tires, the video is bound to electrify metal heads. The video – directed by Michael Maxxis (who has directed for the likes of Billy Talent and Sum 41) – switches from images of war, natural disaster and just plain old explosions back to the band rocking out tenaciously. It really suits the slamming drums, funky bass and 80s guitar riffs of defiance. Even during the more relaxed acoustic hook, when the band are a little bit more calm, filming from war torn countries appears to remind you that they really are on fire.

With a new album set for release early next year via Red Bull Records, this aggressive video is a good way to kick-start promotion. The record is even produced by the prolific John Feldman (The Used, Papa Roach, Black Veil Brides). The single is released on 5th November and the band are touring the UK next month to support grunge band Seether (see below). Check out the red-hot video below.
