Last night, luxury French hair accessory brand, Alexandre de Paris, unveiled its new collection for SS13 in its only UK boutique in Knightsbridge, London. The extensive collection offers such a variety of pieces; there truly is something for everyone for every occasion. Timeless head-pieces, sparkling hair clips and catwalk favourite barrettes filled the compact store from floor to ceiling. 

Alexandre de Paris is renowned across the globe for its exquisite statement pieces. Each piece is carefully crafted by hand in France, using only the finest materials. Twinkling Swarovski crystals and beautiful Swarovski pearls adorn hair clips, whilst soft leather bows and rich velvet are used in a variety of Alice bands. All pieces effortlessly combine femininity and eye-catching 3D detailing, which is sure to add that je ne sais quoi to any outfit.

Alice bands 

Alice bands are sure to continue to be one of the season’s biggest accessory trends. At Alexandre de Paris the simple bands have been given a make-over, leaving us spoilt for choice. Whether you’re looking for jewel embellished, oversized bows or floral hippie styles – ideal for summer festivals – you will find it in the brand’s extensive range. 

Barrettes 

The decorative barrettes have been hot on the SS13 catwalks and are one of Alexandre de Paris’ key signature styles. The versatile accessory can be added to any hairstyle. Opt for leather bow barrettes to style high-rise ponytails, pin up top-knots or accompany loose, tousled side parts. 

Colourways 

Alexandre de Paris’ colour palette of choice for next season includes soft summer pastels and neon hues to add a dramatic twist. Delicate creams are seen on more structured styles alongside neutral hues of toffee, grey marl and soft pinks.
