Designers create luxury Christmas stockings for Selfridges
“Tis the season to be jolly” and now you can add some elegance to your fireplace with Selfridges’ designer Christmas stockings.
The department store has gone all out for the holiday season and enlisted top designers, including Chanel Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld and Henry Holland, to design limited edition festive stockings for the holiday season.
Other designers who have offered their talents include Moschino Cheap & Chic, Maison Martin Margiela and Barbour.
Prices start at a reasonable £30 for the Barbour version, inspired by the ubiquitous quilted jackets.
Tech lovers will love Brit designer Henry Holland’s stocking, priced at £74 – complete with iPhone case.
The Margiela denim boot, however, is a whopping £860 – and only two pairs are available!
Lagerfeld’s creation, inspired by Chanel’s signature monochrome, features his trademark black sunglasses and is yours for £200.
Moschino’s offering is very Italian – with embroidered patchwork illustrations of the country’s landmarks and food.
If the stockings don’t take your fancy, the Oxford Street store is still worth a visit for its famous festive window displays and decorations.
