LK Bennett have announced Rosamund Pike as the face of their spring/summer 2013 mainline collection. The 33-year-old British actress will also front the brand’s capsule collection Black Ribbon. The campaign – shot by Mariano Vivanco in London – features the Pride and Prejudice star sporting a mixture of the brand’s classic, luxury separates. 

Perhaps best known for her role in James Bond’s Die Another Day, LK Bennett stated they chose the Bond girl as ambassador for the brand’s latest collection thanks to her “English charm and celebrated career”.The campaign was shot in a luxury, stately building in Belgravia overlooking Buckingham Palace Gardens – a perfect match for the quintessential English Rose and the British heritage brand. LK Bennett CEO Didier Drouet said the brand was “very excited” about the campaign, which will take the Black Ribbon line into its third season. 

LK Bennett is renowned for its ability to produce designer looks at affordable prices. The brand has experienced an upturn in sales in recent years, thanks in part to The Duchess of Cambridge who has worn the brand on several occasions. The spring/summer ready-to-wear collection features practical but refined separates, synonymous with the brand’s affordable luxury appeal. Classic stilettos, leather pencil skirts and crisp white shirts are at the heart of the campaign, alongside wool separates in blush and lavender.

“I think that LK Bennett is the perfect brand for the working woman because it gives you that ability to feel dressed and polished without feeling overdone and I think that is the key to making you feel good and giving you confidence,” said Pike. “It gives you freedom to play and that’s what makes clothes exciting.”
