New collab: Rihanna and MAC

New collab: Rihanna and MAC

One of the most exciting stars of 2013 is set to inject the world of fashion and beauty with a little more of her super-stardom. After announcing her collaboration with River Island and revealing an impressive new collection, Rihanna has announced four seasons worth of goodies collaborating with MAC; including nails, eye palettes, lipsticks and various accessories.

Rihanna has revealed that to work with MAC was a “natural fit” for her and that their lipstick ‘Ruby Woo’ has always been a personal favourite.

This personal favourite has inspired the creation of a lipstick called ‘RiRi Woo’ which will be the first product launched from the collection. This product will be the beginning of her four-seasonal collection called ‘RiRi Hearts MAC’. Rihanna has expressed her excitement for the products, saying that she “really got to play” and experiment with colour and texture.

John Demsey, president of Estée Lauder (MAC’s parent company) describes these four collections as being “like four tracks on a Rihanna compilation” and that each one has its “own vibe”.

Judging by Rihanna’s natural eye for fashion alongside her adventurous and vibrant style, this collaboration is set to be one to watch out for.
