With the fabulous fashion pieces presented to the world throughout the Autumn/Winter 2013–14 shows, we also saw an array of gorgeous hairstyles set to perfectly complement these fashionable pieces.

This autumn welcomes a range of unique hairstyles designed to accompany any look. Fendi rocked it up with braided Mohawks teamed with delicate fishtail plaits, giving the girly look a rebellious edge.

Gucci also showcased a fiercely feminine look that included slicked back styles and long sleek locks giving the collection a sophisticated finish.

Dolce & Gabbana delivered stylish beehives, setting off the retro-makeup off the 1960s perfectly, whilst Marc Jacob delivered dramatic large curls to portray a sense of 1940s opulence with the fun of 1970s disco influence.

Other significant trends included blunt fringes at Emilio Pucci and also Marc Jacobs heightening the sense of 1960s glamour. Prada delivered wet-look tangled locks, along with Lanvin who’s models wore theirs in rough ponytails. The rock and roll feel of the 1990s also made a comeback in the form of short choppy styles and Crimping from Zac Posen giving the feminine pieces a punky feel.

Autumn/Winter 2013–14 is set to welcome the retro feel of the 1960s with volumised looks, along with the glamour of the 1940s with loose feminine curls as well as rebellious and edgier styles of the 1990s which are set to accompany this year’s star pieces perfectly.
