The Mission of Scaline

UK fashion label Scaline is a missionary in awkward clothing moments, the bridge that fills in our clothing crises with great remedies. It does this by creating dynamic outfits that breach the gaps between business and casual, with a dash of smartness. This is the Sydney Harbour of clothing, its range combining all elements of cozy comfort and chic style.

The background of Scaline lies in fabric; it started out with a combination of woollen and cotton jerseys with leather trims. The materials are sourced from Italy, France and Portugal, and are inspired by high quality, luxury fit and impeccable finish. The garments are all manufactured in England. Looking in more detail at the products, you can see that the quality is ever-present, from concept to finished product.

The brainchild of French/German-born, London-based designer, Anne-Sophie, the influences of Scaline are truly European. The designer is also inspired by the multiculturalism of London, and often discusses how the East End has influenced her collections, and what she considers to be the ideal clothing for cosmopolitan women.

There is a wide range to choose from, so which items should you to go for? High on the list is the Scaline London Blazer Fida in Black, perfectly placed in any wardrobe as a team piece, to be paired up with many items. When will I next be wearing Scaline? Today in the office and tonight at an art gallery opening, the piece is so flexible! The website allows you to peek into the spring collection, by clicking here. Take a look for yourself and see what everyone is talking about.
