PFW – Manish Arora AW 2012 collection
Day three of Paris Fashion Week (1st March): this is the latest show of Manish Arora Ready To Wear Fall Winter 2012 collection, it took place at the Cite de la Mode et du Design, an unusual setting for a fashion show with it showcasing outdoor under a concrete overhang by the banks of the river Seine.
Manish Arora AW collection is inspired by Brooklyn graffiti and colours were bold, certainly heading in a completely different direction from winter colours. Daring to stand out yet still the appearance of those ever popular high waisted, pleated skirts which seems to be an ongoing trend for Manish and works perfectly.
During the show models masqueraded infront of graffiti covered walls, their outfits contrasting against the background which just enhanced these gorgeous designs even more so. ‘Life is beautiful’ was sprayed in graffiti during the show taking the words right out of our mouths.
