Spice Girls celebrate 30 years of Spice with unreleased demos and complete singles box set

30 years after Wannabe launched the Spice Girls into the charts, the group is revisiting its full run of singles with The Singles Collection, a new box set bringing together every single, B-side and a selection of previously unreleased recordings.

Released in November, the collection will be available as two limited-edition 14-disc editions: one on colour 7-inch vinyl and one on CD. Both sets include the original single artwork, collectable art cards and new messages from all five Spice Girls.

The collection runs across the group’s catalogue, from Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life to Holler and Goodbye, while also opening up material from the archive. Among the previously unreleased tracks is Do You Think About Me, one of the group’s earliest demos.

The 7-inch edition gives each single its own coloured vinyl release with its original lead B-side, alongside bonus discs for Step to Me and Tell Me Why. The CD set expands the collection to 160 tracks, with rare remixes, complete B-sides and an additional disc containing four previously unreleased demos.

The release arrives 30 years to the week after Spice first appeared in 1996, an album that helped turn the group into a global pop phenomenon and went on to become the best-selling album by a girl group.

For long-time fans, the appeal is not just in revisiting the hits, but in hearing the less familiar corners of the Spice Girls archive gathered alongside them for the first time.
