PFW – Sonia Rykiel AW 2012 collection
Day Four of Paris Fashion Week (2nd): this is the latest show of Sonia Rykiel Ready To Wear Fall Winter 2012 collection, it took place at Espace Ephemere Tuileries.
This collection focused on exceptionally artistic knitwear, whether pieces were ribbed, body hugging or loose and frayed. Colours were light browns, off whites and glossy blacks. Other pieces included graceful high waisted trousers and elegant fitting pencil skirts accompanied by white or cream shirts loosely tucked in for a carefree look. The most daring of the collection was probably the sheer black dresses which had an eccentric touch due to zigzag pleating.
The show ended in charming smiles from the models which was somewhat endearing during such a high end fashion show.
