Dominic West and Sienna Miller go to battle in Sky legal drama War

Dominic West and Sienna Miller are at the centre of a spectacularly messy breakup in War, a new Sky drama that turns one high-profile divorce into a battle between two rival London law firms.

West plays tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson, while Miller stars as international film star Carla Duval. When their marriage collapses, the pair enlist opposing legal teams and what begins as a divorce quickly becomes a fight over money, reputation and control.

The series comes from Lupin and Hijack creator George Kay and unfolds across eight episodes, with the newly released trailer introducing the lawyers determined to win at almost any cost.

Phoebe Fox and James McArdle play Serena Byrne and Nicholas Taylor of Taylor & Byrne, while Nina Sosanya and Pip Torrens are their fierce Cathcarts & Sons counterparts Beatrice “Queen Bea” Ubosi and St John Smallwood.

Alien: Romulus star Archie Renaux appears as ambitious young lawyer Johnny Warren, who is drawn into the rivalry between the two firms as the Henderson-Duval divorce becomes increasingly public and personal.

The supporting cast includes Celia Imrie, Nick Mohammed, Archie Panjabi, Adrian Scarborough, Emma Laird, Honor Swinton Byrne and Miles Jupp.

And the legal drama is already set to continue beyond this first case. Sky and HBO have ordered a second season, with Marisa Tomei, Kelly Macdonald and David Harewood lined up for a new storyline centred on a defamation battle.

With celebrity scandal on one side and cut-throat lawyers on the other, War looks set to make divorce proceedings considerably more dramatic than the average day in court.
