Soho Italian restaurant 40 Dean Street is giving away 100 free portions of a new Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu on Thursday 1st October, handed out from midday on a first come first served basis. The giveaway marks the launch of the limited-edition autumn dessert, which will then join the menu for the rest of the month.

The seasonal version of the Italian classic layers coffee-soaked sponge and mascarpone cream with pumpkin spice folded through it. Pumpkin spice, a blend typically combining cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and allspice, has become an autumnal fixture for British foodies since its arrival from the US, where it’s mostly sold as part of a seasonal coffee. Its appearance in a tiramisu seems a relatively natural leap, given that the dessert already has coffee as a core ingredient.

40 Dean Street has been serving Italian food in Soho for more than 20 years and is owned and run by Nima Safaei, who is also founder and executive chef of two more sites nearby, at 27 Old Compton Street and 64 Old Compton Street (only Dean Street will be part of the tiramisu offer).

Free portions of Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu will be available from 12pm until 1.30pm for takeaway only, or until all 100 have gone, whichever happens first. Customers must follow the restaurant’s account (@fortydeanstreet) to qualify – and for anyone who misses out, the dessert will still be available to order until  31st October at £7.

The Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu giveaway takes place on 1st October 2026 and the dessert is available until 31st October 2026 at 40 Dean Street, London W1D 4PX. For further information or to book a table, visit the restaurant’s website here.
