Is it time for a change? Try out these holiday hairstyles

With Easter holidays just around the corner, it’s inevitable you all are gearing up for this lovely break. Holidays give you the perfect opportunity to relax and get in touch with your inner wanderlust. Whether you are heading towards the beach, the mountains, sun-kissed parks or you’re simply catching up with loved ones inside the comfort of your home, it’s definitely better to do in style. We bring to you four simple hairdos that will turn you into an instant show-stopper. Here is the best part, even if you are hair challenged like me: you can still achieve these looks. Bring out the comb, the bobby pins and the nifty elastic to get going.

If you are blessed with naturally wavy hair like Kate Hudson here; then simply spritz hair with some leave-in conditioner like Aussie Miracle hair insurance leave-in (£3.55) and pin back the top part to the crown. Add an interesting hair accessory on top for an effortless chic look.

Imperfections can be enduring as our Californian beach goddess Cameron Diaz proves. Copy this look by adding lots of texture and matte using a good volume texture spray like Tresemme Volume and Lift Hairspray (£3). Simply scrunch it on damp or dry hair to get this perfectly imperfect tousle.

If you covet Boho style this holiday season then look no further than Gossip Girl star Blake Lively whose loose waves with little braids have sexy written all over them.

It’s best to do this style a day after hair wash. If your hair is straight then give it a gentle wave using a good waving wand; the Babyliss waving wand (£21) works well. Part your hair keeping in mind the natural partition. Take one-inch hair from the right side, braid until you reach the bottom and fasten it with elastic. Place it behind your ear. On the same side take another section of hair and repeat the process. Now, make a single braid on the left side. Easy Peasy!

Buns are fun; make it edgier with this fun twisted-bun style. Depending on the volume, separate your hair in 3-4 sections. Starting with the outermost section, twist each section gently, roll into a bun and secure it, bobby pins at the nape of neck. Pin any long loose hair. Add a pretty flower on one side for added pizzazz.

So whatever you do in the holidays, with these hairstyles you’ll be good to go for any occasion, get experimenting now!
