Going retro with Dolly Dagger

Going retro with Dolly Dagger

Clicking on the Dolly Dagger website is like taking a step back in time to a post-war world era of polka dots, gingham prints and pin-up girls. This deliciously fabulous website is filled with vintage-inspired looks ranging from gingham printed aprons to 1950s style petticoats. The actual Dolly Dagger boutique is located in the seaside resort town of Brighton and offers no shortage of kitsch glamour. However, if you can’t make the trip to Brighton, you have to check out their website here. This website has so much to offer. There are loads of amazing goodies to purchase: a style diary, a Brighton guide and a place to upload your Dolly Dagger looks.

We love that you can click on “My Style is/I Just Love/My Favourite Colour is…” tabs to make your shopping search easier. The “My Style is” is a guide for certain looks such as Vintage Vixen, Sailor Girl, Lady of Luxury and Kawaii Cutie. Under the “I Just Love” guide, you can choose from looks containing Skulls, Cherries, Hearts, Stripes, Anchors and Swallows, to name a few. “My Favourite Colour is” clearly lets you pick items based on your favourite colours.

Not limited to clothing, there is also a wide array of homeware and accessories. You can find polka dot printed tablecloths, stationary, vintage tins, jewellery and shoes with cherries on them! Dolly Dagger also offers a 16+ size range which is amazing since it can be quite hard to find vintage/retro looks in bigger sizes.

It’s an experience when you step into Dolly Dagger’s world – one we suggest you take a look at. Prices are reasonable and there are many things you won’t find anywhere else. For more information, follow this boutique on Twitter @dollydagger_ or like them on Facebook for updates on upcoming events and specials.
