With the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Olympic Games fast approaching, there’s never been a better time to be British. Summer 2012 is a glorious time for Brits, and in celebration, the beauty world has released some very British limited-edition products to help us show our patriotism.

I’ve compiled some of my favourites, so you can show your love of Britain with everything from a Jubilee manicure to a summery and quintessentially British fragrance.

Limited-edition Jubilee Crystal Colour by Nails Inc – £15

Fly the flag on your nails with a brand new glitter shade by Nails Inc, inspired by the colours of the Union Jack. Complete with crystal cap and packaged in a patriotic British themed gift box, this polish is perfect for full on sparkly nails – great for parties this summer!

Limited edition That Gal primer by Benefit – £21.50

Benefit is releasing a new limited edition version of their best-selling That Gal brightening primer. The new product comes repackaged in a patriotic box features famous London landmarks, such as the London Eye and Big Ben. Available exclusively in John Lewis, but it will be launched nationwide on 2nd June.

Union Red Lip Cover by Burberry – £22.50

Burberry, one of the most quintessentially British brands, gives us a glamorous way to celebrate with the summer with a perfect red lip – the lightweight formulation gives intense moisture and long-lasting colour and the chic packaging is to die for.

Plum Blossom by Jo Malone – from £36

What’s more British than a Jo Malone fragrance? The British beauty brand has released a limited edition fragrance called Plum Blossom, with notes of yellow plum, sandalwood and white musk. It’s light and fresh, and therefore, perfect for the summer months.

Proud and True Brit dry shampoo by Batiste – £2.99

No girl can live without her trusty dry shampoo and this summer; make your handbag-essential the Batiste’s Proud and True version. The quirky Union Jack bottle is cute and of course, it’ll keep your hair fresh no matter what!

Union Jack lashes by Shu Uemura – £50

If you want show stopping lashes this summer, then these handmade Union Jack falsies from the Japanese beauty brand will certainly do the trick. Exclusive to Selfridges.

Celebrate an amazing British summer with the very best of British beauty!
