Blue Tit: London’s coolest salon

Situated in the heart of Dalston, Blue Tit Salon provides you with a hair-raising experience. This independent salon looks more like an Edwardian living room than a 21st century shop with its vintage leather armchairs, exposed brickwork and an intimate team of passionate pros.

Famous for its fashion-forward up-dos and delicious fresh fruit smoothies available from their sweeping wooden bar, Blue Tit offers a cutting edge experience rather than a trim transaction.

This salon has both style and substance with expert choppers who have worked with models on the covers of ELLE and the catwalks at London Fashion Week, ensuring that you are in safe hands with stylists who know what they are doing and how to do it extremely well.

The vibe within the salon is laid back and extremely friendly as the team is more than happy to offer you expert advice, as well as showing you the best way to blow dry your new do – meaning you won’t need to battle with your hair straighteners each morning, a saviour to both your luscious locks and sanity! What’s more, if it’s sunny, they’ll even cut your hair outside, in a peaceful, covered part of their beautiful covered garden terrace, accompanied with their new summer strawberry punch drink – simply delightful.

Using completely natural, organic hair products by Davines, who focus on crafting products that express substance and style, your hair is bound to leave the Blue Tit Salon with a new lease of life.

Prices are also reasonable, especially considering the standard of service you receive and the chance to spend your afternoon in their exquisite and charming interiors.

If you feel Stoke Newington Road is a little too far for you to travel for a quick trim then have no fear, as Blue Tit is said to be opening at the end of this month their second salon located along Lower Clapton road.

Prices start at £53 for a cut and finish for girls and £38 for boys. Be sure to check out their website where you can view their full price list as well as booking a visit here.
