Malene Oddershede Bach: the designer that proves emotions can be expressed aesthetically through clothes

Let us introduce you to Malene Oddershede Bach, who first made it into the fashion world with her graduate collection that captivated the selection panel at Vauxhall Fashion Scout.

With a nurtured ability to mix fabrics with textile elements and a strong interest in colours, the result is a bold, yet constructive finish.

After being awarded the prestigious Ones to Watch SS12 and the response from the UK, the label was established.

Taking inspiration from the feeling of being lost and unfulfilled; such a strong emotion that most people would struggle to express it aesthetically, but not Malene. Her open stripped, cut pieces and shapes reflect this sensation tremendously well, so it is no surprising her collection at SS12 was a success to not just buyers, but also international press, what an achievement.

Malene’s AW2012/13 lookbook proves the next collection is another you won’t have to look out for because it will already be alluring people in with the array of bright colours and constricted shapes. The collection is eclectic offering outfits that could be worn to the office when feeling particularly bold, like this one:

However if you’re opting for something even more daring then Malene’s explosion of burnt orange all over this close-fitting dress is something you would treasure in your wardrobe.

This lookbook proves there is not one piece of fabric that Malene cannot take her hand to and evolve it into catwalk material. Just look at this sophisticated yet sexy trouser suit, most women are often put off by the term but not when setting eyes on this.

Malene Oddershede Bach is one designer that you won’t need to be told to watch because you’ll already be signing your life away with her beautiful clothes.
