The countdown is on – with just four days to go until the London Pet Show opens its doors at ExCeL London! With hundreds of different animals, amazing animal action displays and fun and informative talks and demonstrations, the London Pet Show sponsored by Gocompare.com, is the ultimate day out for animal lovers nationwide.

4137737941_0cd2df8301_zFrom the cute and cuddly to the weird and wonderful, visitors can discover everything they need to know about dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, micro pigs, ponies, parrots, hamsters, fish, geckos, and lots more! New features not to be missed include Hill’s School for Dogs, where even the most disobedient dog can become head pupil and TopCats, an exciting cat show open to members of the public who are encouraged to enter their feline friends to compete for certificates and rosettes in categories including Friendliest Cat, Most Handsome Male, and as the finale, Best Household Pet. Visitors can head to the Nerf Dog Activity Ring to watch amazing agility displays. The jam-packed programme of events includes dog dancing, flyball and duck herding as well as heats of the legendary Scruffts competition.

The Zoflora Super Theatre will once again play host to a full programme of the show’s most popular events including the heart-warming SuperDogs Live competition and exclusive SuperVet Live show with Channel 4’s Noel Fitzpatrick.

Also returning to the London Pet Show is the rabbit show jumping. As one of the most popular attractions, this feature cannot be seen at any other event in the UK.

Other exciting exhibits and demonstrations to look out for include obedience displays by the metropolitan police, puppy training with expert trainer and behaviourist Gwen Bailey, interesting talks from reptile expert crocodile Joe, displays from incredible animals, from parrots to performing dogs (including winners from SuperDogs Live 2014) and much more!

In addition to the exciting line-up of interactive features, the London Pet Show will also provide visitor with the opportunity to shop in the market place – a space dedicated for innovative treats, toys, food, clothes and gifts for pets.

As well as providing a fantastic day out, the event promotes responsible pet ownership and animal welfare with charities including the Rabbit Welfare Association, Cats Protection, Wood Green and many more.
