Easy steps to get that summer beach body in no time

With summer just around the corner, let’s admit it, ladies; we are all thinking how to achieve that summer bikini bod on time. We all have busy schedules, life gets in the way and it can be difficult to motivate yourself to get out of bed, yet alone out of the front door to the gym. So today we wanted to share some of our tips on how we try and keep ourselves motivated and fit despite so many temptations not too. Firstly and mostly importantly, remember why you started in the first place and how far you’ve gone already.

Plan ahead

We have found that if you plan ahead, even if it’s the night before, it’s a lot easier to organise yourself and keep on track. Get yourself a diary and start planning. For example, your plan for tomorrow could be: 6:30am, 15 minutes of pilates as well as the Weider six pack training. There are also many great iPhone apps which help you stay on track such as the Nike Training Club or My Fitness Pal.

Buy new work-out clothes

Let’s admit it, us girls love new clothes, so why not buy yourself new gym trainers or a top; it will make you want to go to the gym. There’s just something about new work-out gear that makes you want to gym it a little more.

Exercise indoors at home

Strength training is ideal for a home work-out but there are also plenty of aerobic DVDs which can be done at home as part of your cardio routine.

Focus on the benefits

Every time you feel like giving up or missing the gym, think about the benefits exercise brings you. It is great for managing your stress levels and it leaves you feeling good about yourself. It also has anti-ageing effects as it enhances blood flow to the brain, improves your sleeping pattern and helps to reduce the risk of many health problems. These are only some of the many reasons why 30 minutes of exercise a day can be beneficial.

We hope you found some of these tips helpful and let us know how you stay motivated to keep fit.
