Spring/Summer trends: Welcome to the (urban) jungle!

Tarzan, the King of the Jungle, is 100 years old and we love to pay homage to him with a parade of one of the most valued season after-season S/S best trend: the Urban Jungle.

Whether it is the sweet breeze of spring or the heat of the dog days, this style is just what you need to face the everyday hectic rhythms of city life in a comfortable and fashionable way.

From the SS12 collection and the brand-new 2013 resort collection, here is a pure injection of dynamic, energising ancestral primal force! Mix Safari shades with tribal patterns, exotic faux skins and a hint of Aztec or mimetic tie-dye and you’ve got it nailed. Go wild!

Urban Safari

The utilitarian wardrobe of Equatorial explorers of centuries gone by is mixed with the best colonial chic style to create very useful daily-wear.

Key items are Saharan khaki jackets, military cargo shorts, linen kaftans, and flat-form leather sandals.

Tribal Chic

The pulsating rhythms of the Savanna live on in cave-drawing prints, savage fringes and bright batiks.

Sub-Saharan tribal and ethnic patterns and high-breaded wedges are the hallmarks of this back-to-the-roots trend.

Savage Soul

Orangutan-style fluorescent faux fur, reptilian textiles, leopard and giraffe prints: it’s Safari time in town! Taken in small doses and with basics it’s the new chic staple, but if you’re in the mood, do not be afraid to exaggerate!

Tropical Paradise

Think birds of paradise, wild orchids or palm-tree leaves: it’s an exotic splash of vibrant and saturated colours.

Inspired by the old Miami mood typical in the 80s, the digital print captures the new luxurious Garden of Eden and bring them into our wardrobe.
