Ten trends that you will fall in love with

Regarding the Olympics, as amazing as it was, we have already forgotten the mad urge to slip a tracksuit on and train to exhaustion to grab our decorous six-pack. Instead, while summer is still in full swing, we started throwing the eye to style proposals for next Fall.

Each year at the first fresh breezes and early changes of season, every self-respecting fashion girl puts the swimsuits and flip-flops aside and dreams about a new wardrobe!

From the AW12-13 catwalks, here are ten hot trends we’ll wear.

(Peplum) Black dress

The most classic of classics, the little black dress is renewed and steals one of the strongest trends of spring: the peplum. Without going to Tiffany’s, we are all princesses in 3D!

Hakaan / Little Peplum Black Dress, H&M, £29.99.

Rodeo girl

A glam invasion of cowgirls in town, adorned with studs and embroidery, bold and romantic at the same time. Ready to return to the frontier life?

Isabel Marant / Rodeo Boots, Zara, £119.

Sweet pets

What’s more comfortable than a soft cashmere sweater to face the cold weather? Halfway between our childhood pull over and a totem mania, this will definitely be the cosiest choice.

Owls Sweater, Sugarhill Boutique, £60.

Wallpaper print

As seen at Prada, Marni, Aquilano Rimondi and many others, the wallpaper prints will be undoubtedly present. To be fashionable, but not excessive, we can wear key pieces to combine with basics. But in the evening, we dare to metal!

Marni / Metallic Trousers, Top Shop, £45.

New focus: the collar

The collar is separating from this shirt and becomes a new accessory.

Worn as a necklace, it turns the most basic of the t-shirt into something special.

Preen / Top with beaded collar, H&M, £19.90.

Brand new textile

Many materials are harvested from the past and made modern and current by new technologies.

Just to name one: the brocade.  Simply sophisticated and chic!

Balmain / Brocade Skirt, Zara, £69.99.

Funny tee

Fashion is mainly communication, so why not do it perfectly clear? Messages, ideas, dreams : just wear your thoughts!

Moschino C’n’C / T-Shirt, River Island, £20.

Slipper invasion

We have not had time to ask ourselves if we liked them or not, they had already invaded the city! Velvet covered or studded, the loafers or slippers, however you name them, will be the new ballerinas!

Slippers, River Island, £28.

Faux fur

Whether you choose to give a wild touch to your outfit, or look very 80s in a fluorescent version, it does not matter: the faux fur will be a must-have!

Mulberry / Faux Fur Vest, Bershka, £29.99.

XXL coat

There are things that can’t fail in your wardrobe, and this is one of them. Invest your time and money and find your perfect coat, better if it is a couple of sizes bigger!

Bet on dark blue, classic camel or berry shades.

You will be repaid by the security of having a piece of clothing that will never let you down.

Chloé/ Egg-shaped coat, N 21, £244.
