Zac Efron, Maika Monroe, Ramin Bahrani and Helen Newton presented At Any Price at the official press conference of the 69th Venice Film Festival.

When asked how he chooses movies at this point of his career – as it would be easier to go where money is rather than the artistic movies he is working on – Efron explained: “You have compared my course to those of such great actors that have been here before: I try to put myself in their shoes while standing here. There’s a path towards money and one that’s more artistic. The latter is what I want to be doing; I am hungry for it.”

“Every choice that you make should be challenging and scary in a sort of way. That is how it is for me. Ramin [the director] believed in me from the very beginning; he kept challenging me.”
