TaraMacJewellery on Etsy is a brilliant jewellery shop for those who love artisanal accessories. The line is filled with fun acrylic skyline-shaped necklaces, bright laser-cut bibs and geometric-shaped earrings. Designer and London native Tara McInerney is a silversmith, jeweller and teacher of product design. Inspired by the rich cultural tapestry that is East London life, her love for the 70s and west coast hip-hop and great taste in novelty jewellery shines through in her TaraMacJewellery shop.

Here at The Upcoming we can’t take our eyes off of the Skyline necklace designs. The Gold City Skyline (£13.67) and the Black Urban Skyline (£16.21)contain a unique mix of real city skylines including London and New York. The look has become TaraMacJewellery’s trademark.  When featured in gold acrylic, à la the Gold City Skyline version, it gives a sort of retro-luxe feel versus the stark and minimalistic version of the Black Urban.

Choosing to focus on necklaces and earrings, the collection contains pieces for everyone. You can see the passion for design come through in each delicate detail and perfect choice of colour and design.  Another design that really stood out was the Sky Blue Acrylic Laser Cut Geometric Necklace (£17.80). It’s one of Tara McInerney’s favourite pieces: “I love that this piece has a retro feel while also being modern and techy and I think you will love it too!”

There are currently 29 pieces in the collection, all of which are truly amazing. Check out the Etsy shop here, and start shopping!
