Ranging from finance to food, Forbes’ 30 under 30 list displays their pick of the “brightest stars under 30” across 15 different categories. Having slightly tweaked the Art and Design category from last year to its new title of Art and Style, it has allowed the focus to lean towards innovations in fashion and the setting of new trends.

Among the 30 lucky candidates to receive such an accolade are the design duo of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: America-born twins who reached stardom at an early age through a number of television and film projects and who are now involved with a variety of fashion ventures, including collections for JC Penny and StyleMint as well as their own label THE ROW.

Established in 2006, THE ROW has achieved critical acclaim in the fashion world and has lead to the twins receiving the prestigious award of Womenswear Designers of the Year 2012 by The Council of Fashion Designers of America.

They explain that, “THE ROW reflects a sense of relaxed and timeless elegance, focusing on fine fabrics and the perfect fit”and have gained an expansive and loyal client base which lead to their infamous $34,000 alligator backpack selling out shortly after its release.

With Forbes magazine being one of the world’s leading financial publications and Forbes.com boasting up to 27 million unique visitors per month, this is certainly enviable praise for the celebrity pair and the fashion world can be sure to continue to see great things from the Olsen team in the future.
