LFW – Rihanna for River Island A/W 2013 collection

Starting nearly an hour late, the greatly anticipated debut collection from Rihanna for River Island definitely didn’t disappoint on Saturday evening. The location, the Old Sorting Office just off Oxford Street, was transformed into a glowing showspace made from huge cubes lit up by blue lighting. With Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn in toe, Rihanna managed to wow the crowds with her creative flare.

90s grunge was the theme for new line with tie-die, bright bold colours and demin being used for her very first line. Spaghetti straps and crop tops worked themselves into the collection giving a very summery, Rihanna feel. Bodycon dresses and slitted skirts fitted models perfectly accelerating their tiny figures.

Walking to Phresh Out The Runway, Rihanna truly excelled herself and this definitely is just the start for her fashion career.
