Eva Lozada allows us a sneak peek at Vida Lux

It’s always bound to cause a media frenzy when a loved television personality branches into the big wide world of fashion! We heard the news last summer that the latest star to make the move would be Evelyn Lozada, star of American reality show “Basketball Wives.”

Teaming up with Teresa Caldwell better known as the mummy of Bow Wow to form clothing label VIDA LUX! Both lovely ladies have already tested the water in the fashion industry and have been friends for a long time so of course it makes absolute sense!

They made the brave decision to showcase the first sneak peek of the collection to a small selection of lucky V.I.Ps at exclusive and trendy club Mo*vida during LFW! Evelyn said on the choice “I wanted to do something big, and I thought that launching this overseas would have a great effect on the line. I figured ‘go big or go home.’ ”

A few hours before the event Eva tweeted to say she was having a drink to calm her nerves but they certainly didn’t show! Glowing and immaculately dressed as always showing off her fantastic curves; Eva showcased a selection of maxi dresses which oozed elegance and femininity with soft, floaty fabrics designed to fit all body types with plenty of colour for summer. When we asked Eva to describe her collection to us in three words she opted for “affordable, sexy and classy,” and we think this sums up the collection perfectly!

Making this collaboration even better, Eva announced that proceeds will go to her new domestic violence charity being a known survivor herself. As she put it “not only are you going to look fabulous but you are also going to help a women in need.” So it’s affordable, feel good fashion and for a good cause?! We think she’s on to a winner!
