Hello Parry: Dedicated for stylish tastemakers all around the globe

Black is always the new black. It will never be out of style, never fade and never make you look fat.  Hello Parry is a company that recognises this – so much, in fact, that their entire website design is all in shades of black, white and grey, making it simultaneously old world and modernly chic.  The header showcases pictures of fashion shows and glamorous people, but pales in comparison to the only pops of colour on the entire site; the clothes Hello Parry is selling.

We die for these clothes. So often when we’re watching runway shows and ogling over the hundreds of pieces we can’t afford in our dreams, let alone reality, there is also still a realisation of how impractical some couture and high fashion pieces are. We don’t see how we could possibly not look insane wearing avant-garde shoulder pads on our jackets and oversized peplum accents on our pants to go to work. So when a website like Hello Parry offers all the perks of high fashion with the edgy believability of streetwear, of course we’re on board.

Hello Parry is a website based out of Perth, Australia, but serves stylistas all around the world. What is most amazing about this site is that it offers a vintage shopping experience, in that the clothing they carry is only available for a limited time and in a set number of quantities. While this might be a disappointment to some, we do see the value of such a tactic for both the customer and the brand.

There is a sense of satisfaction that we women get when we know our item won’t be seen on anyone else. It makes us smile in secret delight to know we will never have a “OMG she’s wearing the same dress as Becca” blunder at an event, and our hearts go pitter patter when we can confidently give our secret shopping site to others because more than likely, the items we purchased will no longer be around for them to snag again. Without a doubt, people will be trying to snag any piece you purchase on this site. Believe us, they’re just that good.

We have a few favorites we’re dying to pick up. The Monochrome Skater Leather Skirt, which is playful and badass all at once, the Stone Patent Pencil Skirt with a split that is sure to bring the sexy back to our work attire, the Lilac High Waist Shorts, because we are dying for spring (it’s so cold, we NEED colour!), and for those of us who like a little menswear with our coffee, the Studded Collar Denim Shirt, which would be a great touch of rugged when paired with a pencil skirt and blazer combo.

As you can see we couldn’t just pick one, and believe it, we had a hard time narrowing down to the select few we’ve mentioned. But the icing on the cake? The site is so inexpensive we borrowed a pair of glasses to double check.  We are clicking “add to cart” as we speak, and suggest you do the same. You won’t regret it.
