It’s that time of year again when the summer is fast approaching. You’re desperately searching for the perfect beachwear and the prettiest summer accessories to ensure that you really look and feel your best and, with Comic Relief recently being aired, raising money for those less fortunate is fresh in our minds

So if you’re looking to kill two birds with one stone this month, look no further than Aspiga.

Providing a vast collection of vibrant printed kaftans, gorgeous beaded sandals, an impressive collection of bags, summer scarves and hats and a stunning jewellery range, it may be difficult to stop yourself buying everything that they stock.

But with Aspiga using profits to help fight poverty in Africa, this is one summer splurge you can justify feeling guilt-free about.

The brand was founded in 2006 and specialises in handmade products. As well as being stocked in over 450 boutiques around the world, Aspiga has the majority of its products made in their six suppliers set in Kenya, which provides much needed jobs to local men and women. Also, they promise that a percentage of their profits go to help The Brydges centre (a children’s orphanage just outside of Nairobi) and they do their bit to fight poverty through fair trade, stating that they “pay suppliers good prices and help them with cash flow by paying deposits and paying our bills on time!  We ask our suppliers to pay their staff fair wages, to have good working conditions, treat them with respect and to not employ people under the minimum working age.”

Aspiga provides versatile, timeless pieces that can be used year after year, so here at The Upcoming we’ve pieced together some perfect summer outfits from the collection that will guarantee that you make a statement.

Take a beautifully detailed white summer dress; add a vibrant splash of colour through these stacked bracelets. Team with statement sandals and straw hat for an ultimate beach goddess look.

Orange is undoubtedly the colour of summer, so why not embrace it in this twist front bikini. Covering up with this gorgeously colourful kaftan, oversized basket bag and choose from an array of coloured disc sandals – creating an effortlessly flawless look.

The variety of accessories and jewellery that is available on Aspiga is the perfect way to bring summer to any outfit.

Beautiful beaded bags that will give the simplest outfit a special and colourful twist and stacked rings and bold bracelets in the on-trend colours of the summer are an essential to any summer attire this year.

Aspiga could single-handedly provide you with your whole summer wardrobe with something to suit every taste at reasonable prices. So check out their website or one of their many boutiques, we guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
