The perfect couple: Converse and Mansikka

Having been paired together in 2011, Converse and Finnish label Marimekko reunite this spring/summer ’13 to bring us unmistakable prints and a bright, summery colour palette. There was no holding back with this collaboration, using iconic prints as old as 1964 by designer Maija Isola as well as vivid 2009 patterns inspired by rag rugs. They have teamed classic Marimekko prints with original converse styles and have added a new flavour with Chuck Taylor’s All Star Converse platforms, meaning double the height and twice as stylish.

The Mansikka Strawberry’s ‘n’ Cream print is favoured to be the most popular design this season, but that’s not without close competition from the Räsymatto print, which was favoured in their previous partnership two years ago. With a new silhouette and several distinctive designs, you have everything you need to keep your feet happy this season.
