Based in Poland, Aleksandra Sychowicz is a new and upcoming shoe designer with fresh and original ideas. Considering that she graduated with a philosophy degree in 2010, she lacked the necessary experience and skills required for the shoe industry. With a background that contrasts with shoe designing, her ambitions and enterprising attitude, skills and most importantly her passion had led her to pursue her dreams. Due to this, she started her career in shoes with a privileged and renowned Polish craftsman, Jacka Kaminsiego, who had trained her with a wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge in shoes.

She had also entered a shoe design competition in which she created a “no shoe shoes”. Her design, which was skin colour and the leather material pressed into the shape of the toes, had been officially praised. This was the start of her new career, and now she is a well known shoe designer who’s definitely someone to watch out for.

Aleksandra shows her appreciation of beauty through these beautiful and delicate shoes. This brown shoe is of leather and suede material, and it oozes comfort and style. Although it is plain, the fine details make an important statement and it symbolises her devotion to creating comfortable and aesthetic shoes.

The swirly and Indian print on this shoe is a bold statement, and it shows her artistic and creative nature. Again, it’s comfortable and easy to walk in, and it is unique and on-trend.

Another handmade shoe which is timeless and it explores the use of very fine and minute details. This creates a very beautiful piece of art. The little bow makes the shoe dainty and elegant.

The little brown prints and the gold material at the back of this shoe is bold, and wearing it would almost create a spring in our steps.

It is astonishing to know that these shoes are handmade, and so professionally created. The fine details and the hours put into producing these shoes only highlight her passion and zeal.
