Summer nail trends

Summer nail trends

It’s not that many years ago that we would tend to keep our nails neat, tidy and natural with the occasional French polish. Anything more than that may have been seen as tacky, but those days are gone and now pretty much anything goes, in fact the brighter the better!

With summer upon us it means we can brighten up our toes, ready to show them off in our sparkly flip flops and be just as daring on our finger nails too.

With neon colours and nail art being on trend, your nails are the perfect way to accessorise any outfit this summer.

Neon brights, whether it’s pink, orange, yellow or green, neon is a huge nail trend for summer. Brighten up your toes for your holidays or the perfect way to bring a bit of extra fashion to your everyday work outfit.

When painting your nails with neon colours you can keep it plain with just your favourite colour, or you could use them all and blend them together to create an easy nail art effect!

Barry M Cosmetics have a great range of nail colours including neon pink and orange that are perfect for trying out this trend. Priced from £2.99 each, you can afford to go crazy!

With the nail art trend, pretty much anything goes, the bolder the better! With nail art you can have a design on all your nails or simply choose the ring finger manicure and have one accent nail.

You can keep it simple by just adding glitter and gems or be flamboyant and get creative.

You can get nail art gems and varnishes in most Boots chemists, or you can simply use nail varnishes and a cocktail stick for creating detail!
