Harrods invites you to send your smell-senses soaring with Fragrance Explosion

Fancy giving your smelling senses something delightful to feast on? Well, as from 22nd August to 19th September, luxury retailer Harrods is inviting its customers to meet a selection of the world’s most famous perfumers for in-store talks, master classes and one-to-one consultations. The event, titled Fragrance Explosion is an “unprecedented olfactory event,” according to Harrods. Screen Shot 2013-08-08 at 16.29.36

Perfumers representing a variety of companies, including Floris, Guerlain, Clive Christian, Creed, Jean Patou, Chloé, Lancôme, Crabtree & Evelyn, Jo Malone, Annick Goutal, 777, Ormonde Jayne and Chanel will all take part. Screen Shot 2013-08-08 at 16.29.47

Highlights will include an interview with Thierry Wasser for Guerlain, led by Harrods’ chief merchant Marigay McKee (5th September), a perfume master class with Roja Parfums’ Roja Dove (19th September), champagne and macaroons with Joanna Norman for Chanel, which features macaroons flavoured with ingredients from Chanel signature scents Chanel No.5 and Coco. With a chance to meet some of the biggest names in perfume, this event is one not to be missed.
