Brighten up your winter wardrobe with Balar jewellery

Brighten up your winter wardrobe with Balar jewellery

During the winter months it can sometimes prove difficult to find an outfit that turns heads. Dull colours wash through the stores and you end up feeling like you are drowning in a lacklustre sea. This is why jewellery is such a necessity for the colder months. We need to add sparkle with an assortment of accessories to make ourselves feel more vibrant and confident. Luckily a new contemporary accessories label, Balar, has opened its online store with a dazzling collection – and just in time for Christmas!

Balar is the brainchild of the talented duo Natalie Walker and Tracey Shepperd. The two friends understand the need for fun and exuberant frills to liven up our winter wardrobes. Their bright and bold range injects you with a unique flurry of fun and excitement. The jewellery is designed and hand-crafted in Jersey and inspired by the love of seaside and travels. Interestingly each piece is named after a beach or place in Jersey.

The wonderful colours are just one of the alluring aspects of Balar.  A laid back and surf style is clear with their signature yellow periwinkle featured throughout the collection, but with some pieces interspersed with Swarovski crystals they glisten with glamour also.

Materials for each eclectic piece are sourced from various countries including Egypt, Greece, Bali and Japan. We believe this adds to the rare appeal of the designs. Simple pieces such as  Winter Festival, which are made up of a choice of coloured hand-dyed silk ribbons and embellished with a small charm, prettify your neck or wrist. Or more intricate designs such as Elizabeth Castle, a lariat style necklace made from sterling silver and natural un-dyed shell, really adds some personality to that everyday outfit.

So if you really want to stand out from the crowd this winter, Balar’s bright and bold collection is sure to help you.
