Charlotte Tamar is a bespoke jewellery designer whose designs are tailored for those who have a passion for unique, intricate pieces.

Charlotte Baker, a recent graduate in 3D Design Craft: Contemporary Jewellery and Fashion Accessories, also studied for a jeweller’s and gemstone diploma to become an expert in the jewellery industry. Charlotte decided to set up her brand Charlotte Tamar after gathering tremendous experience from both working and studying in the field.

Her expertise resulted in receiving an exclusive special high-grade award due to her gemstone course; this progressed in creating her own collection of limited edition and bespoke jewellery. Charlotte handcrafts her pieces from her studio in London. The jewellery that she creates is made from a combination of precious metals and gemstones. Charlotte describes her thinking behind the design process as: “Injecting my flair and personality into all of my design creates, I want to bring the wearer a sense of excitement, expression, adornment and individuality.”

Charlotte Tamar also designs custom pieces, which are available on request. When speaking about inspiration, the designer says: “I am a creative jeweller inspired by luxury materials, bold forms and vibrant colours, combining both contemporary and traditional jewellery practices.”

“I have always had a desire for beautiful objects that can be treasured. I also believe that a piece of jewellery should make a statement, which should command attention and make the audience engage.”
