Windle & Moodie’s eco-friendly haircare range

Windle & Moodie’s eco-friendly haircare range

Critically acclaimed hairdressers Windle and Moodie have created a 22-piece hair care range so that you can feel the effects of London’s best hair stylists at home. What can’t this dynamic duo do when it comes to hair? As it turns out, given that they’ve been voted Best London Hair Salon by Timeout readers, they can pretty much do no wrong, and we’re sure their extensive list of A-list customers would agree.

Neil Moodie started amongst some of the best in the business, working it with the likes of Corinne Day, Drew Barrymore, Natalie Portman, Burberry, Calvin Klein and Vivienne Westwood, just to name drop a small fraction of them. Paul Windle was Covent Garden’s hair connoisseur of the 90s, breathing life into the editorial and fashion of the era. Combined, they are a dream team that have taken London by storm by way of numerous Vogue covers, high-end runway shows, and a list of celebs longer than your arm.

So now, at long last, they’ve put together an extensive haircare line, fit for any hair type or texture. They’ve described their salon as a “lab” where they refined their art, testing out various tools and products to create the ideal hair care experience for each individual customer. The standards are higher than the beehives in Hairspray, thanks to Windle and Moodie’s work with UK-based chemist, hand-picked for their expertise in break-through and imaginative hair technologies.

Food-grade teas play an enormous part in their range, contributing as a natural antioxidant and shine enhancer in all of the shampoos and conditioners. That’s just one example of Windle and Moodie’s efforts to create an eco-friendly yet innovative haircare range. Repair, protect and strengthen are the key words in this hair-raising game.

Ranging from £12.50 (thickening cream) to £29 (intense treatment masque) each and every tailored product is great value for money. Luxuriously natural ingredients are threaded throughout the range, each offering a different element of care, such as cocoa butter, various teas (as aforementioned), green coffee, honey, oils from all over the world, micro-wheat, sugar beet, aloe vera, and so much more. The range has boycotted sulphates, propylene glycol, silicones and parabens, and we could not be more thrilled. Chemicals are on their way out,it’s all about getting back to nature!
