Red carpet: MTV Movie Awards 2015

The MTV movie awards, hosted on 12^th April, were a grand event with many talented actors and actresses taking to the red carpet. The likes of Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper and Shailene Woodley were victorious winners of this prestigious award. Not only was talent the focus of the night, but the red carpet attire definitely had a significant part to play in the extravaganza. Take a look at some of the most popular outfit choices this year.

Shailene Woodley looked very edgy as she paired two bold patterns together. Her very high waisted trousers were very flattering for her figure and the black boots gave the outfit a punk style which is a very brave choice for the red carpet.

Keeping up-to-date with the 70s trend, Charlii XCX sported nothing but a colorful trench coat and nude, lace-up platforms. The manner in which she styled the coat turns it into a dress silhouette, which creates the focal point of this outfit.

Model Cara Delevingne wowed the media in this glamorous, burgundy dress. With chiffon, balloon-shaped sleeves and lace panelling, this dress is elegant and interesting. Her simple sandals and scraped back hair helped put attention on the stunning dress, bringing out its detail.

Sporting a Vivienne Westwood suit, Michael B Jordan looked smart wearing this interesting print. The red and black checked pattern is eye-catching and the Givenchy shoes scream “suave”.

You may not have seen much from the singer Redfoo since the hit Party Rock Anthem but he sure knows how to make a big entrance. Sporting a summery, aztec print suit and two-toned Vans, his attire could not have gone unnoticed. Short trousers and a loose blazer exhibited the fun-loving character we know him to be.
