Kristen Stewart stuns in Chanel eyewear campaign
We are used to seeing her in front of the camera, but this time, actress Kristen Stewart is behind it. The Twilight actress is the face of the Chanel eyewear campaign and plays the photographer in the series of black and white images.
Kristen has previously dabbled in the wonderful world of fashion house Chanel, having become their brand ambassador in 2013. These campaigns have included Chanel’s Paris Dallas 2014 campaign and their spring/summer 2015 handbag campaign with fellow celebs Vanessa Paradis and Alice Dellal.
Shot with her new chopped locks, slicked in a side parting and defined brows, Kristen looks androgynous and sultry as she models the new range. Photographed by Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel stated: “The actress transformed into a charming photo-reporter, her gaze framed by the new optical eyewear and sunglasses of the house.”
The pieces consist of sunglasses and spectacles, ranging in style, from cat-eye shapes to popular 70s pilot style. Chanel have kept up with the trends, whilst keeping their signature style of pearls, chains, tortoise-shell and tweed.
With only headshot angles, it’s clear that this campaign is all about the face. Kristen’s profile looks beautiful and the monochrome photographs make the eyewear the main focal point.
We think this eyewear is flawless and the 24-year-old star works each pair perfectly. We can’t wait to style these sunnies this coming summer!
