Taylor Swift assembles supermodel cast for Bad Blood music video

Taylor Swift assembles supermodel cast for Bad Blood music video

From Lily Aldridge and Gigi Hadid to Lena Dunham and Jessica Alba, Taylor Swift unveils the most gloriously star-studded music video yet.

Ever since she announced that her next single would be Bad Blood, Taylor Swift has had the world on tenterhooks, anticipating the release of the new video to match. She unveiled the official, model-filled video on 17th May and it has since broken the Vevo record with over 20.1 million views in just 24 hours.

The upbeat revenge track is taken from her latest album 1989 and is reportedly written about her feud with fellow songstress Katy Perry. Taylor even had BFF Selena Gomez rocking a black bobbed wig that looked eerily familiar…

Taylor started the hype by releasing a character poster of herself as a protagonist of the music video with the name “Catastrophe”. The image sent the internet into overdrive and Swifties everywhere waited with baited-breath for more details. In just a few days their prayers were answered as Taylor released another poster featuring Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge as “Frostbyte”. Some weeks later, we were welcomed with even more characters including Cara Delevingne aka “Mother Chucker” and Karlie Kloss: “Knockout” – it seemed every supermodel wanted to be a part of Bad Blood, resulting with a grand total of seventeen cameos throughout the four-minute sketch.

Who was your favourite appearance from, Gigi Hadid with a killer compact mirror as “Slay-Z” or perhaps a cigar-smoking Lena Dunham as “Lucky Fiori”? If you still haven’t given the most-watched music video a whirl head over to Taylor Swift’s Vevo account and check it out.
