Topshop launches archive collection
Nostalgia is nothing new in fashion, but it is certainly having a moment on the runways, where retro styles are making frequent appearances. With that in mind, Topshop is delving into its own history to create Topshop Archive: a collection of 33 limited edition pieces, reissued from the brand’s most popular items from over the years.
With a reasonable price tag of £25-£200, the range is inspired by the original designs that established Topshop’s hold on the high street. Expect classic 70s smock dresses, day-to-night printed playsuits, statement flares and plenty of chic denim, modelled by Britain’s newest sensation, Ella Richards.
In case your personal favourite hit is not there, the brand is also launching the social media campaign #BringThatBack, encouraging shoppers to post photos of their most-loved past Topshop pieces, for the chance to see them make a comeback.
The first stage of a growing collection will arrive in store and online on 9th July 2015.
