Autumn has always been all about colour. Greys in the sky and deep warm hues in the trees. This year nature is the muse for make-up trends and boosts of autumnal colour will make your face pop. When creating your look, decide which part of your face will be your eye catcher and follow our tips below. Keep the rest of your make-up routine simple to create a balanced whole.Image 1Eyes

For the ultimate autumn eye look think copper, think gold, think brown. Deep hues that will really bring a certain warmth to your face. This Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette by Zoeva is a perfect combination of matte and metallic. The closer we get to the holiday season the more you can add metallics to your daily eye make-up routine. Also, don’t be afraid to experiment with your eyeliner this season. Try filling in your waterline all the way up the inner corner of your eye for a statement look.

Again, the shade that is on everybody’s lips this year (no pun intended): deep and dark. When it comes to your lips you can keep it simple by opting for a brown lipstick or you could be a bit more daring with a berry colour. Can’t decide? The Soft Matt Lipbalms by Hema are budget proof at £4.50 a piece and they have just added two new colours to their collection – #09 and #11- which are the perfect finishing touches to your autumn look.Image 3Blush

It is time for your contouring kits and bronzers to go for a well deserved hibernation because this season is all about the blush. Sharp edges are out, it’s time for a sweet and soft look – we are talking “fresh out from the cold after a wintry walk”. For rosy cheeks choose warm peachy and deep rose tones. You cannot go wrong with the MUA Luxe Whipped Velvet Blush collection.
