Temperley London autumn/winter 2017 collection catwalk show for LFW
Presented at Banking Hall, Temperley London’s autumn/winter 2017 collection took elements of traditional Amish dress and gave them the sweet charm of The Sound of Music.
A myriad of feminine, frilled dresses were accompanied by masculine high-waisted trousers and braces. Attention was often brought to the Victorian collars that featured strongly on floral dresses and fluid shirts tucked into A-line skirts. Flesh was barely shown through sheer and lace fabrics in powder blue and black, offering a conservative appearance.
Temperley’s signature symmetrical prints were also present, in rich plum, cobalt and rose colourways, which added a beautiful and striking dimension to traditional silhouettes.
