Met Gala 2017: Celebrity beauty

The Met Gala is fashion’s biggest night put! As usual this year was a star-studded event that called the biggest names in pop culture to descend on to the red carpet and bring their fashion and beauty A-game. This year’s theme paid homage to Rei Kawakubo and Comme des Garçons, meaning that attendees had full creative reign to play around with looks that may not be traditionally seen on most red carpets. In terms of beauty, the hair and make-up showcased on the night was just as striking as the fashion.

All eyes were on Rihanna as she wowed the red carpet and nailed this year’s Comme des Garçons theme. She stepped out wearing a vibrant blush and eye shadow to finish off her avant-garde look

Cara Delevingne pulled off futuristic vibes with a metallic ensemble at this year’s Met Gala. The model has recently shaved her head in preparation for her movie role in Life in a Year. For the red carpet, she boldly added a twist by painting her head silver and adding a fair amount of Swarovski crystals.

Katy Perry may have been wearing a red veil for the majority of the night, but her dark glitter smouldering eye make-up still managed to captivate.

Zendya’s afro and orange lip combo stole the show on the red carpet. Her lipstick perfectly complimented her tropical inspired Dolce and Gabanna dress.

Kim Kardashian went for a more simplistic style for this year’s Met Gala. However, Kim’s make-up and hair was still as flawless as ever, as she showed off her shoulder length hair cut and dewy bronzed make-up.
